Working and Consultative Meeting of Key Political Actors in the Parliament of BiH

Talks on the reconstruction of the ruling majority at the state level have intensified again. The signing of a cooperation agreement between the two Troikas – the ruling one from the Federation and the opposition from Republika Srpska – has been announced, which previously announced that they would offer all parties, except SNSD, a document that would be a platform for the reconstruction of the government.

Eight parties are at a working consultative meeting. As we learn, the meeting is also being attended by other parties that have deputies in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. The document, or Platform, should be agreed upon today, which should be signed on Friday. This would mean the formation of a new coalition at the BiH level.

All of this is at the level of speculation, given that we do not have official data on what the aforementioned agreement entails and in what direction it is going. This meeting comes after the leader of the HDZ BiH, Dragan Čović, said that the opposition parties from RS did not meet the expectations that the HDZ had after the meeting in Kupres.

It is unclear how everything will continue to function and whether it can function at all without HDZ, and also whether HDZ BiH will remain on the side of SNSD.

The meeting is not attended by party leaders, but by deputies in the PD PA BiH. The leaders had a working dinner last night with the Foreign Minister of Great Britain, according to BHRT.
