A working group meeting was held on 20 December 2019 for the development of the descriptors (key words) in administrative, civil and criminal cases for the e-sentences database. In the meeting participated the heads of the case-law, administrative, criminal and civil departments of the highest courts in BiH: Court of BiH, Supreme Court of RS, Supreme Court of FBiH, Appellate Court of Brčko District and representatives of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH.

The meeting resulted in an agreement between the participants to harmonise the descriptors (key words) in all areas of law. Additionally, the pace, tasks and deadlines for the development of the descriptors were agreed.

The working group meeting is organised by the Council of Europe, under the project: “Initiative for Legal Certainty and Efficient Judiciary in Bosnia and Herzegovina” thanks to the voluntary contribution of the Government of Norway and in co-operation with the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and The AIRE Centre.
