ifatexFrom 15th to 18th October, in the “Mirza Delibašić” hall at Skenderija, the 30st International Fashion, Textile, Clothing & Shoes Fair IFATEX 2014 will be held.

On this occasion, a press conference with Ahmed Zubović, head of the Service for fair and congress businesses of the Skenderija centre, Bruno Bojić, president of the Foreign trade chamber of B&H and Aida Zubčević, president of the Association of business woman “One” was held.

The fair is sponsored by the Ministry of energetics, mining and industry of the FB&H. Still, Minister Erdal Trhulj couldn’t come at today’s press conference.

Zubović said that there is going to be less exhibitors than in the previous years because of the floods that affected our country and the number of exhibitors. The participants will present their achievements in the textile industry, one of the developing branches that need support through fairs and state institutions.

“We already have competitive brands in the sense of prices and quality but this industry needs a systematic support – stimulation, better loan responsibility, eliminated corruption etc.” – concluded Bojić.

Zubčević pointed out that it is absolutely necessary to profile thee B&H fashion industry.

The Fait is dedicated to 4 subjects: foreign trade exchange, industrial policy of the sectors, its perspective and effects from applying the temporary reduction of the custom rates for importing certain merchandise that should help the industry.

On October 17th at 17:30 o’clock two Bosnian designers; Emina Husedžinović- Ibrahimović and Samra Menzilović-Ćatić will promote their fashion designs for this fall/winter for business women at the Great hall of the Skenderija centre.
