At the Electro-technical Faculty in Sarajevo, the event entitled “Digital Museum Expo” was held today along with the lecture on wide offer of digital technologies for virtual museums and presentation of the digital content in museums.
The event was organized by the Electro-technical Faculty in Sarajevo and it represents the following event of the “Keys to Rome” exhibition which was installed at the City Hall on September 23rd.
The idea to make such an exhibitions belongs to the Trans-national network of virtual museums and it was open at the same time in Sarajevo, Amsterdam, Rome and Alexandria.
The exhibition in Sarajevo was organized by the ETF along with the Museum of Sarajevo, the National Museum of B&H and the town of Sarajevo as well as in cooperation with other 17 partners from the Trans-national network of virtual museums.
Today’s event at the ETF was opened by professor Selma Rizvić who said that this event needs to be supported and pointed out that it is due to this event that the faculty became member of the international consortium made of 18 partners from 13 countries.
“The project was supported by the EU and it’s a great reference for us, from the aspect of science, archaeology and museology. Through workshops we learnt how it is done in the world.” – said Rizvić.
