pravosudje(1)The Office of the Ministry of Justice of the USA for Development, Support and Training of Prosecutor’s Offices in Oversea Countries (OPDAT) and the International Program of Criminal Investigative Training (ICITAP) will host workshops on the topic ’10 years of judicial reform in B&H’, which will be held in hotel Bristol in Sarajevo today and tomorrow.

The opening ceremony will take place in hotel Bristol starting at 9:00.

This workshop will bring together judges, prosecutors, police officers and lawyers who participated in the implementation of the Criminal Procedure Code since its adoption, as well as representatives of academic communities who have analyzed and taught it during the past 10 years.

The event will offer a unique insight of the positive outcomes and possible shortcomings of the Law based on the experiences of lawyers and representatives of the judiciary and police. One of the objectives of the workshop is to provide an insight into how this law affected the overall security situation in B&H and to provide possible recommendations for its improvement.
