The Bosnia and Herzegovina Medical and Biological Engineering Society, in cooperation with their partners, is the organizer of the Second International Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering (CMBEBIH 2017), which will take place from the 16th to 18th of March in Sarajevo, and it will gather the world’s leading researchers, scientists, doctors, engineers and prospective students.
The arrival of the world’s most famous lecturers was announced as well, and they have been invited to create a platform for discussion of the latest research, innovative solutions and new challenges in this area, all with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare and life in general.
This is an exciting, informative and inspiring professional-scientific conference, which is aimed at sharing ideas, experiences, best practices and the latest research in the field of medical and biological engineering, as well as all other related areas.
When it comes to invited speakers, the following lecturers are coming: Ervin Sejdic (USA), Eddie Custovic (Australia), Vesna Maras (Montenegro), Shankar Krishnan (USA), Sefik Suzer (Turkey), Christopher James (UK), Nesrin Haserci (Turkey) and Tomislav Milekovic (Switzerland), as announced by the organizer.
The program of the conference will consist of plenary / keynote lectures, 120 scientific papers whose publication will be done by Springer, three industrial workshops with world’s leading experts, the possibility of financing of startup ideas and a great socializing program, everything under the slogan “Pursuing innovation. Shaping the future”.
The CMBEBIH is one of the largest and most important events in this field when it comes to Southeast Europe, and the first Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering (CMBEBIH) in BiH was held in Sarajevo in 2015 and it recorded a significant success.
After the opening ceremony (which will be held on the 16th of March at 10.45 am) is planned a press conference which will be attended, among others, by Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, Elmedin Konakovic, Abdulah Skaka, Senaid Memic, Sebija Izetbegovic, Ranko Skrbic, and representatives of IFMBE, IEEE, ESEM, IUPESM.
