Deliveries of coronavirus vaccines under the COVAX program, of which Bosnia and Herzegovina is a part, should begin this month, said World Health Organization official Kate O’Brien.
“We need about seven billion dollars to deliver a sufficient number of vaccines to these countries by the end of 2021.
“COVAX collected about six out of seven billion dollars,” O’Brien pointed out. According to her, COVAX has access to more than two billion doses of vaccines.
She pointed out that she would start delivering the vaccine, most likely by the end of January, if that is not the case, then for sure, at the beginning and middle of February.
Let us remind you that Bosnia and Herzegovina is also part of the COVAX coronavirus vaccine program, BHRT writes.
