World’s Top Breakdancers in Tuzla on 22 March

breakdanceOn Saturday, 22 March, Tuzla will be the host of the qualifying competition of the world’s most famous competition in B-Boying, or breakdancing.

This is the second time that the Red Bull BC One Cypher is being held in B&H, and the tournament in Tuzla is one of the over 70 Cypher (state qualifications) that is held throughout the world.

The competition will be held in the University Hall and will gather 16 of the best breakers in B&H. In the fight of 1 on 1 they will try to reach the title of B&H king of B-Boying. This also means entry to the regional finals on 13 September in Zagreb, where the best breakdancers in the region will fight for a place at the World Championship Final in France.

A jury of outstanding quality will decide on the winners, which will be composed of some of the best world breakdancers, Ronnie (world champion 2007) and Mounir (world championship 2012). The third member of the jury will be young hope Lux de Lux (winner of Red Bull BC One Cypher in Zagreb 2011). A day before the competition, Mounir and Ronnie will hold a free workshop for B-Boying and all fans of breakdance.

Frenkie will lead the program, and DF Funk Efemdzemov will take care of the music. Entrance is free.
