World Wildlife Fund is satisfied with the number of signed petitions for the preservation of the Nature Park Hutovo blato. The initiative was organised in the December 2012.
Coordinator of WWF in BiH Zoran Mateljak said that the petition will be forwarded to all those who could potentially be responsible for protection of this natural park.
”Besides the local institutions, there are higher institutions, funds that are involved in environment protection, as well as the main users of this space, water agencies, power agencies, international organisations. Our goal is to start wider initiative for the protection of this area’’, said Mateljak to ”Dnevni avaz”
