While the last hours of 2016 were counted at the Square of BiH last night, the charismatic musician from London, whose roots are set in Sarajevo, delighted the audience.
Yehan Jehan is another proof that an apple does not fall far from the tree – his mother Neska is a piano professor and his father Dado Džihan is a rocker and a composer.
This summer, the British The Guardian dedicated him an article in the rubric “New band of the week” and called him “Bosnian wunderkind”.
Jehan arrived to Sarajevo several days ago with his multinational band and they have been practicing intensely for last night performance at the biggest Square in Sarajevo.
Jehan says that music is an integral part of the Džihan family, who has been living in London for more than 20 years now. His parents let him choose his music style by himself. The review in The Guardian helped him a lot by making him known on the London scene.
