weatherIncreased thunder is expected today at the territory of the entire BiH, thus the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute of BiH (FHMZ) issued a yellow alarm.

Alarm for potentially dangerous weather conditions is issued for the areas of Banja Luka, Livno, Višegrad, Bihać, Mostar, Trebinje, Foča, Prijedor and Tuzla.

Yellow weather alarm is also issued for Sarajevo due to thunder, as well as because of strong winds that might reach the speed of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

Unstable weather followed by rain and thunder is expected in the entire country. Storms with strong winds, intense rainfall and hail are expected in the larger part of BiH. On the other side, temperatures will be mostly high, as in previous days, and will range between 26 and 30 degrees, in the south between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius.

After a rainy morning in the BiH capital, more clouds, showers and thunder are expected in the other part of the day.

As of today, meteorologists expect a slight drop of temperatures throughout the country.

“August in BiH will be somewhat warmer than usual, by one or two degrees, while in the very south of the country that period will be within the normal temperature values. Although we are expecting a warmer summer than the average, that does not mean that shorter cold periods can be excluded,” it was stated by the FHMZ.
