You can illegally keep Weapons, then beat up your Wife, and Tomorrow you can freely go

If you are a famous person, for example a famous handball player, your family member, for example your mother, is an employee of the court in Ljubuski, and you illegally keep an arsenal of weapons at home and brutally beat your wife, you can freely plan all your obligations in the coming days because the court will let you go to freedom.

Courts in our country have long been central places of unprofessionalism, non-objectivity, corruption and nepotism and one of the main reasons why people lose faith in this country, its institutions, the general judiciary and in the end increasingly decide to continue living outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

We will not go back into recent history in detail and recall the case of the murdered Nizama Hecimovic from Gradacac and many other women who were victims of domestic violence by their partners and who are still undergoing terrible torture. Let’smention the Croatian handball player who lives in Herzegovina, who has three silver and two bronze medals from the Olympic Games, world and European championships on his shelves.

The whole of BiH and the region have been talking about Denis Buntic, a former athlete and now a family abuser, for days. Today, he walks around town in a casual style – in slippers, shorts and a T-shirt with his hands in his pockets, stops by the police station and continues on. Maybe he goes for a coffee, watches a handball match with his friends and recounts the events of the past few days.

The judicial authorities obviously do not mind the fact that this same Denis Buntic illegally kept pistols, automatic rifles and ammunition. Did anyone ask him what he was up to with the guns he didn’t have a license for? Who was he planning to shoot or blow up?

The judicial authorities were obviously not touched by the fact that he brutally beat his wife, and according to her, he almost killed her. If that had happened, today many would be looking for the culprits for the umpteenth time, calling in the profession and announcing stricter laws. It doesn’t bother the judicial authorities that such a bully walks freely, and maybe even sits down in a cafe next to their child, daughter, mother, sister…

It is simply unbelievable that Buntic was not even given a one-month detention, which is a standard practice for many people who are found with firearms for which they did not have a permit, not to mention the larger quantity of weapons that is the case with this citizen of Ljubuski.

In the atmosphere that prevails today, when every day we read about violence against women and victims of domestic violence, it is scandalous that Buntic was not detained even for beating the mother of his child.

Because of all this, out of fear for her own life, Klara Buntic published an audio recording from the night she was beaten. Knowing the procedure of the courts, her recording will probably not even be taken into account because it is an unauthorized recording. Until next case like Nizama…, Klix.ba reports.
