Young B&H Basketball Team Better than Greece

kadetThe cadet basketball team of B&H marked second victory at the European Championship up to 16 years in Latvia.

After the victory over Croatia in the first round, the players led by the selector Emir Halimić won Greece today in the second round of the B group of the European Championship in Ogre with the result 56:51 (20:13, 5.18, 18:8, 13:12).

The best players in the team were Dženan Musa with 21, Njegoš Sikiraš with 12 and Sandro Antunović with 10 points.

The young B&H basketball players ensured with this victory one of the first three positions in the group leading to next phase of the competition and realised their primary goal at the beginning of the EC – to stay in the A-division.

In the last round, they will play against Latvia this Friday for the first position in the group.
