Young innovator from Goražde Ahmed Gušo, a student of the “Hasib Hadžović” Technical High School, won first place at the international Codeavour 7.0 competition, held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
This news was shared by the school he represented, proud of Ahmed and his mentor, Professor Merima Fočo.

With great joy and pride, we announce the good news that our student Ahmed Gušo, in the competition of a large number of competitors, in the senior category, showed exceptional knowledge, effort and talent and was the best among the best. They emphasized that Codeavour 7.0. a prestigious international competition that brings together talented young innovators from all over the world who, through programming, robotics and modern technologies, present their knowledge, creativity and solutions to real problems.
In addition to the competition, in the previous days the participants also had training in 3D printing, where they had the opportunity to learn about modern technologies and their application in practice.
“Participating in such an event is a great success for both Ahmed and our school. We are proud that our students have the opportunity to present their knowledge and talent on the world stage, gain new experiences and make friends with peers from different countries”, emphasized the school.
The talent of the young innovator Ahmed Gušo was recognized in elementary school, when he achieved his first victory at the “Do Your Bit” World Competition. Then, with a new innovation, he won third place at the “Codeavour” artificial intelligence and coding competition.
He also represented the Bosnian Podrinje Canton of Goražde and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international competition for young innovators Codeavour 6.0, which was held last year in Qatar, Fena writes.
