Police officers of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) carried out two separate operational actions in the Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office, aimed at documenting criminal offenses in the field of drug abuse, and four people were arrested.
Within the case codenamed “Urgent”, acting on the Order of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, the police arrested two people, initials S.A. (1982) and S.DŽ. (1985), who are suspected of the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs.
A certain amount of substances associated with Cannabis, Amphetamine and Ecstasy, as well as ammunition of unknown caliber, were found in their possession.
In the second operation, codenamed “Giulia”, police officers from the FUP also arrested two people suspected of the criminal offenses of Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs, Forgery of a Document and Assault on an Official in the Performance of Security Tasks.
As reported, the suspects resisted during the arrest operation and caused material damage to the official FUP car with their vehicle.
During the search of the persons, apartment and vehicle, approximately 350 grams of a substance associated with heroin, a forged document of the Republic of Croatia, scales for precise weighing, packaging equipment, a number of mobile phones, a pistol, ammunition and other items related to the commission of criminal offenses were found and seized.
The arrested persons were criminally processed in the official premises of the FUP, and a report will be filed against them with the competent prosecutor’s office.
