A photo of a young man standing at the cemetery of the recently deceased Huria Dumpor, who was buried in Rastani, Mostar, was published on social networks. The message under the photo “Gazi po balijama” (Step on Muslims)

Aner Gosto, the grandson of the deceased Huria, is looking for the young man and posted on his Facebook.

“Dear friends and good people. On May 7, 2022, my grandmother Huria-Hura died and was buried in the harem in Rastani, where she spent her entire life, living honestly, peacefully and in good relations with relatives and neighbors. My grandma Hura never had any enemies anywhere in her life, neither by religion nor by nationality or anything else. A day or two ago, the “unknown perpetrator” took a picture of himself crouching and stomping on her grave with the inscription “Stepping on Muslims”.

In his post, Gosto asked the public to help him discover the identity of the young man who posted this photo.

“I am asking you all, if you know or have any information about the perpetrator (from the picture), to contact me and thus help the report to the competent Ministry of Interior, as well as for further legal steps that we will take as his family, descendants,” said Gosto, adding that this is a shame in 2022 and asked “Have we become animals?”
