A large number of young people protested again today in Sarajevo due to the amount of the subsidy for solving the housing issue in Canton Sarajevo of 4,800 BAM, which was awarded to them at the beginning of the year.

At the beginning of the year, water youth held protests several times because money was redistributed to 1,142 applicants out of 5.5 million BAM, which was withdrawn, and they individually received 4,800 instead of 10,000 BAM, which was previously distributed.

Canton Sarajevo Government misled because of the changed criteria of the competition, and similar messages were highlighted at today’s protests.

The Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton Nihad Uk repeated that there is no money to pay subsidies to young people.

“Expensive? At this moment, no relevant ministry has found funds that would be transferred to Minister Bosnjak in order to comply with the initiative of the parliamentary representatives,” said Uk.

Young people say that they will not give up the protest, and that new gatherings are possible as early as next week, Fena writes.
