The municipality of Tesanj launched a project to represent young successful people with the aim of promoting both their professional and life achievements as well as universal social values.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Tesanj, Suad Huskic, said that through this project, he wants to give space and present young and successful people with the aim of promoting true social values such as knowledge, success, work, dedication, education, and social empathy. He believes that every young man and woman has a chance to be successful in Tesanj.

Just some of the success stories that the Municipality of Tesanj decided to single out are MHM Robotics, Nadina Mehmedovic, and the brothers Ajdin and Semir who are also doctors.

Muhamed, Harun, and Medin founded the company on August 15th last year, and already in September, they produced their first prototype machine, which they presented at the trade fair in 2022. In the meantime, they sold two CNC machines, while they are finishing the third one for a well-known customer in Tesanj.

“The machines are unique, and purpose-built from design to hardware and software. These are state-of-the-art technologies that include automation, robotization, and digitalization. Their machines can be controlled remotely, and they solve complicated production problems. For now, they are focused on the wood, metal, and textile industries. The price of their machines ranges from 30.000 BAM to 200.000 BAM and more. The price is affected by the very complexity of the processes that these smart machines perform, and they are serious competitors to Turkey and China,” says Huskic.

Nadina Mehmedovic has been a member of the National Cadet Team for three years and the Junior National Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for the same number of years. She was declared the sports hope and the most successful junior of the Municipality of Tesanj and Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC) in the competition of all sports for three years in a row. In 2021, she was declared the most successful junior athlete in BiH in the competition of all sports, and she was also among the two most successful athletes of the BiH Olympic Committee.

Last year, she finished second in the World Junior Ranking of the World’s Best Female Taekwondo Competitors. At the beginning of 2022, Nadina Mehmedovic performs in the senior categories, and thus prepares points for the senior World ranking list, as well as for the Olympic norm, i.e. qualification for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. In February of this year, Nadina Mehmedovic signed a contract with the Olympic Committee of BiH in order to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024.

Ajdin and Semir Ibrahimovic are brothers. Both are doctors, that is, they both graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Tuzla (UNTZ). The elder Ajdin is employed at the Tesanj General Hospital, while the younger Semir works at the Tesanj Health Center. Ajdin is a doctor-specialist, and Semir is married.

Alma Karahodzic inherited knowledge from her father, but also a huge empathy for bees, and that is why she is successfully engaged in this noble profession today.

“I founded the trade less than five years ago. My father was very successful in beekeeping for 40 years. Through childhood and growing up, I gained knowledge, and later I expanded this knowledge through my studies as a food technology engineer, graduating specifically on the topic of honey and bee products. Today, we have around 200 bee colonies,” says Karahodzic.

She is dedicated to quality in what she does and points out that there are no problems with the marketing of honey and honey products.

“Quality is our number one priority. In addition, we try to package our products beautifully. Our products are available in Tesanj in Jevadzije and on Vlasic, where we have our own apiary, and we also deliver by express mail,” explains Karahodzic.
