Director of the Youth Film Festival Kenan Musić is satisfied with the film repertoire and response of audience at this festival that started on Thursday and within which 46 films were screened.
Musić said that more than 2.000 young people took part in this year’s edition of the festival and that this is an indicator of the growth of the festival.
“Next year we can expect more films and more young people who want to socialize and express their creativity,” Musić said.
Musić added that this year the OFF increased its budget and they managed to finance the arrival of the majority of film crews and their presentations.
Musić was especially satisfied with the fact that older audience supported the youth and their work. He added that 60 percent of the screened films were made by domestic authors, but authors from Argentina, Great Britain, Austria, Bulgaria, Germany and countries of the region also presented their works. Topics were adjusted to the younger audience.
The film festival was closed last night with an award ceremony held at the Yellow Fortress in Sarajevo.
