Youth Forum in Mrkonjić Grad in August

latvia2006Association of Citizens ‘Mogu!’ Čelinac in cooperation with Youth Organisation ‘Centar’ Mrkonjić Grad will host 40 young people from the UK, Scotland, France, Sweden, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Azerbaijan on the occasion of The European Rural Youth Forum which was started in 2006 by the European parliament in order to connect young people from rural areas.

The forum will be held from 11 to 18 August and the theme of the forum is rural development with the aim to promote rural areas to foreigners so that they could return to BiH as potential investors or tourists.

Also the aim of the forum is to promote peace, equality and tolerance among various peoples.

Every day of the Forum, debates will be organised and conclusions will be sent to the European Parliament as suggestions of young people for improvement of rural areas across Europe.

Participants will stay in Mrkonjić but they’ll visit Sarajevo, Mostar, Jajce, Šipovo and Banja Luka.
