12966169_1152141008170187_156679421_nThe fundraising project of the Zenica Youth Radio Active was completed with yesterday’s jam session with Rambo Amadeus and young artists from Zenica. Within this project, a panel discussion, performance and a concert of the Montenegrin musician Rambo Amadeus were held.

The City Library Zenica hosted the panel discussion about education, culture and entertainment of the youth. One of the participants was the Montenegrin musician Rambo Amadeus, as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador from Montenegro.

Haris Abdagić, Jovana Čanji Aranđelović and Ira Raković also taked about their professional experience in the mentioned area. Aranđelović, who participated on behalf of the Open Club from Niš, said that the activism of youth in the social life is necessary and that regional exchanges such as the one held in the past several days are the best kind of cooperation.

“After a reference to the situation of formal education in BiH and the lacks that exist, we got to understand that the situation is similar in Serbia as well, with special emphasis on inclusive education. Problems that we mentioned are documentation for the children and education of teachers for working with children with developmental disabilities. What is important is to accept the differences and co-existence in school environment, but the problem is co-existence in normal life, in some kind of a deeper understanding,” Aranđelović said.

The joint attitude is that family plays the key role in the implementation of inclusion. Another topic of the panel discussion was informal education, and other speakers including Rambo Amadeus also referred to education and the lack of culture that surrounds us.

A performance aimed at pointing out the brain drain from the region was held at the Shopping Center Džananović. Given that increasingly large number of young people leave BiH in search for a brighter future in other countries of the world, young people from BiH and Serbia decided to point to this problem with a symbolic flash mob.

Representative of the Radio Active Aldin Vrškić said that the visitors of the Shopping Center Džananović positively reacted to the entire performance and that he hopes that everyone learned something from it. Continuation of the project “ZeNiš” is expected in several months in Niš, when similar programme will be organized during the visit of young people from BiH to Serbia.
