Sasa Magazinovic, Chairman of the SDP Bosnia-Herzegovina Main Board, met in Skopje with the President of the Social Democratic Alliance of Northern Macedonia (SDSM), Zoran Zaev, to discuss the SDP and SDSM’s inter-party cooperation to meet elections in Northern Macedonia, as well as local elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The exceptional cooperation of the two parties was confirmed, which will be further enhanced by joint projects in the coming period.

On this occasion, Zaev reaffirmed his willingness to continue to provide friendly assistance to Bosnia-Herzegovina within his capacity.

Magazinovic also participated in a conference called “One Balkans to the European Union”, where he spoke at a panel moderated by Zoran Zaev.

In his speech, Magazinovic emphasized that in the coming period he expects Brussels to change the approach of our region from the current technocratic to the political one, which will mark the understanding of the capacities of the states individually, which in his opinion would be a way to accelerate the European path of the entire region.

Magazinovic is of the opinion that the countries of the region should gain candidate status without additional conditions, and transform and increase their capacity through membership negotiations.

In his speech, Zoran Zaev also spoke about the need for stronger cooperation of the countries of the region, in order to, among other things, speed up the integration processes of all countries individually, Klix.ba news portal reports.
