Zagreb Airport registers busiest Day on Record

Zagreb Airport experienced its busiest day ever on Thursday, April 17, just ahead of the Easter holiday.

A total of 16,580 passengers passed through the airport over a 24-hour period. Ryanair offered the most seating capacity that day with 6,946 seats, followed by Croatia Airlines with 6,396 seats, and Lufthansa with 1,268 seats. Croatia Airlines operated the highest number of flights at 55, while Ryanair and Lufthansa operated 38 and 8 flights respectively. The routes to Dubrovnik, Istanbul, and Split had the most available seats.

The peak hour was between 14:00 and 15:00, featuring eight commercial departures and five arrivals. Before this, the airport’s busiest day was June 14, 2024, when it accommodated 16,197 passengers.
