Zenica plastered with Posters of undesirable Leaders of the BiH Football Federation

In several locations in the city of Zenica, on public advertising boards, unknown persons pasted posters with pictures of the leaders of the Football/Soccer Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the A national team, over which was written in not large red letters: “Unwanted!!!”.

The first on the list of “undesirables” is the president of the FS BiH Vico Zeljković, but the poster also includes pictures of coach Sava Milošević, then national team director Zvjezdan Misimović and members of the Executive Board of the FS BiH.

The posters, apparently due to protests and fans’ dissatisfaction, appeared just one day before the semi-final play-off match for the 2024 European Championship, in which the “Dragons” will host the Ukrainian selection tomorrow at 8:45 p.m. at the “Bilino Polje” Stadium in Zenica.

All this suggests that the Zenica stadium, which has been sold out for this game for a long time, will be the scene of a showdown between BiH fans tomorrow. national team with the leadership of the Federation and the national team, Fena news agency writes.

BH Fanaticos, a fan group that has been supporting all national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) for years, issued a statement last night before the charity match in Zenica.

The reason behind it was the move by the Football Association of BiH, which decided to purchase a large number of tickets for this match and thus support the BH Fanaticos’s initiative in collaboration with the association Pomozi.ba.

The Football Association of BiH transferred 5.000 BAM to the account of Pomozi.ba, but BH Fanaticos say they do not accept that money because, as they claim, the leaders of the country’s football governing body only tried to score public relations points.

“The entire public was informed that Pomozi.ba and BHFanaticos are organizing a charity match on March 21st. The goals are noble, funds are being raised for the treatment of BiH citizens. Since we are one of the organizers, we have given ourselves the right to choose guests according to certain criteria known to us. Besides these criteria, there are certain rules for organizations or companies that express a desire to make a donation. For example, your logo will not be automatically displayed at the match, and some individuals will not be invited regardless of the number of goals.”

The accounts of the association Pomozi.ba are open throughout the year and accessible to everyone for donations. The Football Association of BiH tried to gain public relations points by purchasing tickets for this match. After the first rejection upon OUR INITIATIVE (the guys from Pomozi.ba respect us as co-organizers of this match, their norms outside of this are solely theirs), the Emergency Committee decided to transfer 5.000.00 BAM to the account of Pomozi.ba. Cheap tricks and manipulations with an absence of real willingness to help. The name BHFanaticos will not be put on the same level as your policies, that should be clear to you after the previous statement. Nevertheless, the “almost skilled” cooks decided to try to “squeeze” into such a manifestation with bad recipes, that is, blows below the belt. They are not welcome.

In light of this, we reject their donation for this match, and the guys from Pomozi.ba will transfer the funds to any other fund unrelated to this match.

P.S. The amounts you offered on two occasions will be collected in one box at halftime of the match,” BH Fanaticos stated in their announcement.

It should be mentioned that the charity match between BH Fanaticos and the legends of BiH football will take place on Thursday, the day of the BiH vs. Ukraine playoff match, starting at 3 p.m. at the Zenica Arena.
