The football ace of Paris Saint Germaine Zlatan Ibrahimović was voted the best football player of Sweden for the past year, which is the jubilee tenth such acknowledgement in the country for which he wears a captain band in the national team.
The gala awards ceremony for the best football players of Sweden was held at the Global Arena in Stockholm, and Ibrahimović stated that he is happy for the prestigious award “Golden Ball of Sweden” and added that great credit for his successes goes to his family.
Reminding that the national team of Sweden will soon play two matches of playoffs against Denmark within qualifications to the European Championships in France, Ibrahimović said he expects victory and qualification to the EURO 2016.
Goalkeeper of the Turkish club Kasimpasa Andreas Isaksson also had a great reason for satisfaction, since he was also named the best Swedish goalkeeper of the year for the tenth time.
Issakson said he is proud of the new acknowledgement in his homeland, too, and he also added that the real celebration will be postponed until after the upcoming matches against Denmark and that he will celebrate only when the Swedish national team qualifies for the review of the best national teams of Europe in France.
Another naturalized Swedish national team player Emir Kujović received the “Golden Boot of Sweden” award which is presented to the top scorer.
Kujović is the best striker of the Super League of Sweden with 21 scored goals in the shirt of the current champion Norrkoping. While receiving the award, Kujović said he is also happy for the invitation to the Swedish national team.
