The coach of the Croatian national football team, Zlatko Dalic, has once again set out on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.

Dalic will travel from his hometown of Livno to the sanctuary in Medjugorje, covering a distance of 120 kilometers on foot.

A photo of Dalic appeared on the Facebook page of the village of Podhum, and in the comments of the post, people wished him a safe journey.

Dalic, aged 57, has been making pilgrimages for years, and he has previously walked the 120-kilometer route after Croatia achieved its greatest football successes.

Dalic has often emphasized the importance of religion in his life in his statements and has mentioned that he carries a rosary in his pocket during matches, Klix.ba reports.
