Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić spoke yesterday with the Ambassador of the USA to BiH Maureen Cormack and informed her about the current political and economic situation in BiH.
Chairman Zvizdić spoke with the Ambassador Cormack about reform measures defined in the Letter of Intent addressed to the International Monetary Fund and about benefits that BiH will have from their implementation. During the meeting, Zvizdić also informed the Ambassador about measures implemented by the Council of Ministers regarding the MONEYVAL and FATF, as well as about the remaining obligations from the Action Plan which will be implemented soon.
Ambassador Cormack congratulated Zvizdić and the Council of Ministers of BiH on the completed Review of Defense and adoption of the Rulebook on medicines and said that this is an important step for BiH.
Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Cormack spoke about further steps towards activation of the MAP, implementation of measures from the Reform Agenda, and the strengthening of regional cooperation.
Chairman Zvizdić notified the Ambassador Cormack about the visit by the Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn to BiH on December 9, when Zvizdić will receive the questionnaire from the European Union. He also informed her about the summit of prime ministers of countries of Central and Eastern Europe which is to be held in Sarajevo on December 12 and 13 this year.
