Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić met today with German Ambassador to BiH Margret Uebber to discuss the current political situation in BiH and the challenges BiH is facing on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration.

Chairman Zvizdić said that BiH is committed to the European and NATO perspective as a key foreign policy goal.

He expressed gratitude to the Federal Republic of Germany for the friendship and continuous support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Zvizdić stressed that the development of the political situation in BiH is not going in the right direction and stressed the importance of the presence and interest of the international community in the situation in BiH.

Ambassador Uebber said that the current situation in BiH is being monitored with great attention in her country and that Germany will continue to provide support to BiH, as well as efforts to meet the conditions for membership in the European Union.
