zvizdic (1)Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic and Prime Minister of the FBiH Fadil Novalic talked about the current political situation in our country.

Both Zvizdic and Novalic stated that they are satisfied with the effects and progress that the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the FBiH made in this term. Zvizdic said that the last year was the most successful one when it comes to the European integration of BiH.

As he stated, he is satisfied with the economic situation in BiH due to the fact that all the parameters are showing improvement of the economic situation in our country, as well as regional relations.

Prime Minister of the FBiH Fadil Novalic said that statistics is showing a high degree of implementation of measures from the Reform Agenda and growth of gross domestic product (GDP) as well as the number of employees. He also commented on the dualism when it comes to information from statistical institutions and the Federal Tax Administration, and noted that it is not important and that the only important thing is that the number of employees is growing.

Zvizdic said that citizens can clearly see that the authorities are implementing reforms at all levels, which should bring benefits to all citizens of BiH. He also noted that citizens understand that the European path is important for BiH and that the effects can be seen when the number of employees increases to 60, 70 or even 80 thousand of new employees. Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH also praised about the new companies that were opened in our country.

When it comes to the crisis in relations with the coalition parties, Zvizdic said that it will be difficult or even impossible for the executive authorities to function if it has not the support of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. He recalled that all parties in BiH committed to support the European path of our country back in 2015.

According to him, the election campaign started in April this year, although it should start in 2018, which is the reason why our country is rotating within the election campaign that affects all projects in a bad way. He emphasized that the Council of Ministers of BiH is ready to work hard and diligently on reforms regardless of how painful they are.

When asked about the Law on PIO / MIO, the President of the Government of FBiH stated that it is one of the most important laws because it affects a lot of people. As he said, the law is designed as it should be (economically and European-oriented), but it is a different thing that it is not going well in the parliamentary procedure.

Novalic said that the law is perfected in a technical way and that he is sure that it will be fully implemented from the 1st of January 2018. When it comes to the problem of veterans, Novalic said that “there are different rights by which they entered,” and that it is justified for veterans to seek for rights that they have lost.
