Zvjezdan Misimovic finished his rich Football Career

MisimovicFormer player of the national football team of BiH, Zvjezdan Misimovic, decided to end his rich playing career at the age of 35.

One of the most popular representatives of BiH of all times had a valid contract with Beijing Renhe until the 31st of December this year, but he decided to terminate the contract and go to retirement, confirmed Misimovic.

Misimovic was born on the 5th of June 1982 in Munich. After playing for local clubs SV Nord Lerchenau, TSV Forstenried, SV Gartenstadt Trudering and FT Gern Munich, he joined the great Bayern in 1997.

He played four times for the first team of the Bavarian giant, while he recorded 103 appearances for the second team.

He played a total of 432 matches in his club career and enrolled 117 goals and 116 assists, and he got a red card only once.

He made his debut for the national team of BiH on the 18th of February 2004 in a friendly match against Macedonia on the recommendation by Hasan Salihamidzic. During 10 years of playing for the Dragons, he played 84 times and shared second place on the list of scorers with Vedad Ibisevic with 26 goals.

He remained in the memory of fans of the national team of BiH after he scored against Spain on the 8th of June 2005 in the framework of qualifications for the World Cup in 2006, when he led the Dragons to lead at the Mestalla after he snatched the famous Iker Casillas.
