British Foreign Minister David Cameron said that it is extremely depressing that Serbia and Republika Srpska (RS) are launching a campaign against the Resolution on Srebrenica.
At a public session held in the House of Lords, Committee on International Relations and Defence, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs David Cameron presented the position of the Government of Great Britain regarding the Resolution on Srebrenica, it was announced on the Facebook page of Bosnia UK Network.
“It is extremely depressing… that Serbia and Republika Srpska are launching a campaign against the resolution to overturn it, and actually deny that Srebrenica was an act of genocide,” Cameron said and added:
“There was genocide in Srebrenica. I think you all remember Srebrenica and it was a genocide, one of the worst we have seen on one continent in the last few decades. The UK will vote for the resolution, we will publicly push for the resolution to pass and call out those who oppose it.”, AA writes.
