Ismail Barlov, the paraswimming representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, won the gold medal at the European Senior Championship held in Portugal.
The 13-year-old representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved a historic result tonight in Madeira in the 50-meter breaststroke.
He reached the title of European champion in the final with a result of 1:01:15.
“Be careful what you dream, maybe it will happen to you sometime, is a sentence that we often hear and repeat in training, and tonight we all first thought of it when our great Ismail Barlov reached the roof of Europe. The dream of one boy, one team of people, came true. of a sports family… It is difficult to express all the pride and happiness in the right way. Ismail Barlov is on the roof of Europe, he wrote the history of BiH sports, and I thank him for the moments of happiness that he gave us,” said Amel Kapo, head coach of the paraswimming national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The popular Barla with gold at the European Senior Championship has once again confirmed his top class and continuity of results, given that he is also the owner of two A norms for the upcoming Paralympic Games in Paris this summer.

The European Championship takes place from April 21 to 27.
