1.9 million BAM allocated for Eliminating the Consequences of Natural Disasters

To help local self-government units in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters, the Government of Tuzla Canton approved a total of 1.9 million BAM today. Of this amount, 1.2 million BAM refer to the funds of the TK, and 700,000 BAM to dedicated civil protection funds.

In this regard, Teočak was granted 676,000 BAM, Sapna 474,000 BAM, Čelić 171,000 BAM, Živinice 102,000 BAM, Gradačac 100,000 BAM, Banovići 90,000 BAM, Kalesija 87,000 BAM, Kladnje 70,000 BAM, Gračanica 55,000 BAM, Doboj East to 50,000 BAM and to Lukavac 25,000 BAM.

Also, at the session, the cantonal government tasked the ministries and other cantonal authorities and institutions that are financed from the Budget of the Republic of Croatia to carry out the analysis of the Financial Audit Report of the Tuzla Canton for the year 2022, which was carried out by the Office for the Audit of Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and within 20 days at the latest, submit to the Ministry of Finance a proposal for measures to overcome weaknesses, irregularities and violations identified in the audit report on the financial audit of the Tuzla Canton for 2022 within their departmental competence.

The Internal Audit Department of the Ministry of Finance is tasked to prepare and submit to the Government of Tuzla Canton a proposal for the Program of Measures to eliminate the observed deficiencies in the financial reports of the Budget of Tuzla Canton for 2022 within 15 days from the deadline for the submission of proposals for measures.

Also, the Government accepted the text of the notification of the Ministry of Finance regarding the submitted Report on the Financial Audit of the Tuzla Canton for 2022, which the Minister of Finance will sign and send to the Office for Auditing Institutions in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Today, the government approved BAM 32,400 for “Solina” elementary school, Tuzla, for the purpose of heating reconstruction.

In accordance with the previously adopted Program for the distribution of funds from the spending unit Aid to Religious Communities for the year 2023, the Government today made individual decisions on the approval of the planned funds.

As part of personnel matters, the Government today, at his personal request, dismissed Nikola Čiča from the position of director of the Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton, and appointed Izet Numanović to the position of acting director of the Pedagogical Institute of Tuzla Canton, it was announced after the session of the Government of Tuzla Canton, Fena reports.
