worksConstruction of the sports-recreation and tourist center at Rostovo near Bugojno, worth around 10 million EUR, have started.

Works, which should be completed by the 15th of June next year, are managed by the company “Biser Rostova” (Pearl of Rostovo).

“We will complete the earthworks within the next 10 days, and then we will introduce the company ‘Sirbegovic’ into the work,” said project coordinator Asim Sahman, resident of Bugojno who lived in Qatar in the recent years where he was working as a handball coach.

According to him, the first match in the future handball hall, which will have 810 seats, should be played around the 20th of June 2016.

After the construction of the hall, which will be able to host international, club and representative matches, they are planning the construction of hotel facilities, the football stadium and two sports halls.

The mayor of Bugojno Hasan Ajkunic stated that the construction of this center will significantly determine the appearance of Rostovo plateau, and enrich the tourist offer of Bugojno and the entire B&H.

“I am sure that sports fields and facilities that are under the construction at Rostovo will attract numerous visitors from the country and abroad with its rich content,” said Ajkunic.
