Irish airline RyanAir is planning to transport 100,000 passengers from Banja Luka Airport next year, as announced by Robin Kili, the director of communications of that airline.

As he said, “RyanAir” is ready for the introduction of new lines from Banja Luka due to a great interest in flights.

He also added that a great interest and response was recorded on all three return lines from Banja Luka – Memingen (Germany), Charleroi (Belgium) and Stockholm (Sweden), and that they are optimistic in regard with the occupancy of their aircraft.

“These three lines will begin in the winter of 2018 with two flights a week. We are looking forward to transport 100,000 passengers from Banja Luka next year and we are interested in new lines as well,” stated Kili.

“This cooperation has great significance for the development of the Airport Banja Luka, since in regard to the geographical position and importance of the region it deserves the status of more frequent airport, which will be realized with the start of these flights. This connection with Europe and the whole world is very important for the development of the RS and BiH in the economic and tourist sense,” noted Dusko Kovacevic, Acting Director of the “Airport of the RS”.

He confirmed the possibility for new flights to several destinations.

The promotional price of the first flights amounted to 20 EUR, and the prices will depend on the reservation later. The first flight to the Charleroi is scheduled for October 29, and flights for Memmingen and Stockholm are scheduled for October 30.
