Drop in Prices of Fuel at Petrol Stations in FBiH

fuel2 (2)These days, prices of fuel at petrol stations in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina have fallen for five pfennigs for the first time since the beginning of December 2016.

Prices at gas stations have not changed for months and the stable prices characterized the period which lasted from December 2016 to March 2017.

Because of the end of stable period and because of the sudden drop in price of a barrel in early March, the owners of the pumps have decided to align prices with the new value of black gold on world stock markets, which amounts to 47 US dollars (WTI), or close to 50 dollars (Brent).

“Last week, there was a reduction of prices for oil products for five pfennigs on more than 50 percent of pumps in the Federation BiH. Other pumps will apply changes this week,” is confirmed from the Department of prices in the Federal Ministry of Trade.

The last recorded average value of the fuel in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (January 30) was 1,90 BAM for diesel, 1.95 BAM for gasoline 95 and 2.10 BAM for petrol 98. We can conclude that the new average will be 1.85 BAM, 1.90 BAM and 2.05 BAM.
