Conference on Respecting OSCE’s and UN’s Security Commitment to B&H

osceThe OSCE Mission to B&H will organize the sixth review conference on respect for OSCE’s and UN’s security commitment to B&H today and tomorrow in Sarajevo.

The review conference is the key annual forum for discussion and debate in the area of political and security obligations of B&H within the Organization for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) and the United Nations (UN).

During the conference, progress will be discussed on progress so far, as well as mechanisms for further improvement, including the work of the Coordination Team of the Council of Ministers of B&H for implementing OSCE’s and UN’s security commitments.

Participants in the conference include the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Security, Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of B&H, Joint Parliamentary Committee for Defense and Security, police and security agencies and the RS and FB&H Ministries of Internal Affairs.

The OSCE said that the Head of the OSCE Mission to B&H Fletcher M. Burton and the Acting UN Resident Coordinator to B&H Florence Bauer will attend the event.
