Germany to donate 250 000 Euros for destruction of Ammunition

The signing ceremony of the contract worth of 250,000 euros between the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will be signed tomorrow in Sarajevo. This program will provide greater security to community through the destruction of 2.4 million pieces of ammunition surplus of small arms and more than 35,000 pieces of artillery ammunition.

Funds provided by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany are expected to continue to fund the project “EXPLODE +” (Explosive Ordnance and Remnants of War Destruction). This project will continue in providing the support to the Ministry of Defense of BiH in the process of destroying risk artillery ammunition and ammunition of small caliber, as well as to improvement of military infrastructure, is announced from the UNDP.
