House of Peoples adopted the set of Laws on Excise taxes

House of Peoples Session rtvslon.baDelegates to the House of Peoples of the Parliament of BiH, in the urgent procedure, adopted the set of excise laws, which is a condition of the IMF for a new tranche of 155 million BAM.

Ognjen Tadic and Darko Babalj, delegates from the SDS party, voted against, while the delegates from the opposition SNSD Nebojsa Radmanovic and Sredoje Novic, and DNS Dragutin Rodic voted for the adoption. Sifet Podzic from DF party, and a delegate of the Club Croats from HSS Mario Karamatić voted against as well.

The following were adopted: Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Excise Duties in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on payments to single account and allocation of revenues, Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Indirect Taxation System in BiH and the Draft Law on deposit insurance in banks of BiH.
