Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Mirko Sarovic signed Water Supply Support Agreement with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
“The realization of an agreement worth 25 Million Euros will start in the following months and will primarily concern works to increase water supply capacities and reconstruct the network in Canton Sarajevo. Namely, it is important in order to stop the great water losses and problems for citizens of the Sarajevo Canton,” is stated from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.
During the meeting with EBRD Director for Western Balkans Holger Muent and Regional Directors for the Western Balkans agreed on the completion of projects in Banja Luka and Brcko, and the next prioritiy of EBRD will be the issue of wastewater management in Pale Municipality.
