Company from Vietnam interested in buying Sugar Factory?

Bijeljina sugar factory BiHThe Government of Republika Srpska (RS) held a meeting regarding the Letter of Intent of the Construction Corporation JSC from Vietnam, stating its intention to buy Bijeljina Sugar Factory a.d. Velika Obala – in bankruptcy.

A letter of intent followed after the meeting with representatives of the Construction Corporation JSC from Vietnam which was held in March at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the RS. At the meeting, the representatives of these companies expressed their interest in buying Bijeljina sugar mills a.d. Velika Obala.

The Government of RS announced that the representatives of the company visited Bijeljina two times and spoke with manager Lazo Đurđević about the purchases of sugar, providing basic information on the state of the factories and debts.

The company from Vietnam provided a letter of intent on March 21st the day before the third bid was held on March 22nd.

“Following the letter of intent, the company Construction Corporation JSC from Vietnam sent a letter on April 17th requesting further information on the state of the factory, documentation needed to start the factory, conditions for upgrading of the factory as well as the sugar market In the Republika Srpska and in the region,” is stated from the Government of RS.
