parentsThe Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has accepted the initiative of the Prime Minister Fadil Novalic to allocate the funds in the amount of 30,000 BAM in order to finance the maintenance costs of the Parents’ House in Sarajevo, capital of BiH.

Namely, this is a project which will enable the Parents’House to open its doors to children suffering from malignant diseases and their parents. The initiative points out that the existence of a Parents’House requires funding to finance the costs of its maintenance.

This house represents a lasting benefit from which children who suffer from malignant illnesses and their parents, the medical staff and the wider social community will benefit. Moreover, this is the place where it is possible to provide psychosocial support to the affected children and parents. All in all, it will help to remove their emotional crisis and stress, and to enable easier coping with the problems that disease and treatment bring.
