People named “Ivan” to try to break the Guinness Record!

tourists (1)Kupreski kosci Association, in cooperation with local community, aims to bring together all people named Ivan who live in BiH, the neighborhood and the diaspora. Together with their families, on July 30th , residents of BiH named Ivan will enjoy the beauties of Kupres field and will try to break the Guinness record in gathering the most people of the same name in one place.

Numerous holders of the name Ivan, which means “God is Merciful”, will come from BiH, Croatia and the Diaspora. It is important to note that for decades, name Ivan is one of the most popular names in this area, and one of the first and most prominent bearers of that name is John the Baptist, whose day is celebrated on June 24th.

The aim of this gathering is to promote family and spiritual values and to mark the family Sunday, July 30th in the Church of St. John the Baptist.

In the breaking of the Guinness World of Records, people named Ivan can only participate and need to apply at 1000ivana.com by July 10th. More information about the project and the event can be found on the official website.
