kozija cuprija sarajevo goat bridgeThe Civil Protection Department of the Municipality of Stari Grad in Sarajevo set up a warning table near Kozija ćuprija (Kozija bridge) saying that the water is not for drinking. Some days ago, the warning boards were removed and the Civil Protection team set a new warning, which was printed on a concrete base.

After the several cases of tourists drinking water on the eastern part of Kozija cuprija, the Public Health Institute of Canton Sarajevo took water samples from this location and conducted their analysis in the Sanitary Microbiology and Chemistry Laboratories. The analysis has shown that there is a large number of bacteria and that water is epidemiologically dangerous to the health of people.

It was ordered to the Civil Protection Service to adequately warn visitors of this promenade that the water is not for drinking, which was done immediately.
