The 12th Bosnian Memorial “Mustafa Hajrulahović Talijan” Open

boksYesterday evening, the 12th International Memorial Boxing Torunament “Mustafa Hajrulahović Talijan” was open with the participation of fighters from 11 countries.

This traditional tournament is organized in memory of Mustafa Hajrulahović, general of the 1st corpus of the Army of B&H who contributed greatly to the defence of Sarajevo and B&H.

Before the Memorial started, the organizers and participants of the competition placed flowers at the general’s grave in the harem of the Ali-paša’s Mosque.

The two days tournament, taking place at the Dom mladih and organized by the boxing club “Zlatni ljiljani” was solemnly open by the member of the Presidency of B&H and the president of the Organization board, Željko Komšić.

18 semi-final fights were at the program yesterday evening while the finals with 13 fights were held today at 11:00 o’clock.
