ekobisThe 12th International Eco-Fair BIS, organized by the Economic chamber of Una-Sana Canton and sponsored by the Canton Government and Municipality of Bihać will be held on September 4th and will last 4 days.

The content and the following events are dedicated to sustainable eco-tourism in protected areas.

“We will inform the public this year about some new sustainable projects in economy thanks to the Federal Ministry of environment and tourism.” – emphasized the president of the Economic Trade of Una-Sana Canton Ismet Pašalić at the press conference.

Over 250 exhibitors from seven countries applied for participation at the fair.

“An increased interest for exhibiting at the fair is shown by economists from the region, there is 30 % more of them this year.” – said Pašalić.

An important support to the fair came from the Municipality of Bihać this year as well. The Municipality took over applications from around 30 exhibitors and gave 20 000 BAM to help implement the project as well as the space at Gradska Otoka.

This example was followed by the Municipality of Velika Kladuša, Sanski Most and Bosanski Petrovac, which also supported their own exhibitors financially.
