13 Years Since Dario Džamonja is Gone

dans-13-godina-kako-nema-darija-dzamonje_1413366053If he had lived, Dario Džamonja would be 59 today and would have published who knows ho many books, stories etc.

But, the reality is some different, so his fans are marking 13 years since his death today.

The novelist Dario Džamonja was born in Sarajevo in 1955 and died in the town where he was always coming back.

Besides the numerous books he published, he also worked as a columnist in the magazines Slobodna Bosna, Večernje novine, Naši dani, Oslobođenje, Kolunist, Valter and Valter Ekspres and as editor in the magazine Lica. He is the winner of the “Veselin Masleša” prize for the best novel book in 1985; the “Fund Free Expression Award” in 1993; “Writes Club Madison II” for Non-fiction in 1994 and poetry prize “Madison” in 1996.
