Federal Civil Protection Administration destroyed 13,000 Pieces of different Explosives and Ammunition

In three months, the Federal Civil Protection Administration’s teams removed and destroyed great amount of explosives.

In 55 municipalities and cities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), from June 22nd2018 to September 28th2018, the UES Federal Civil Protection Team teams destroyed 1,105 pieces of hand bombs, mines, grenades, missiles, bombs and weapons left from the First and Second World War, 6 anti-tank mines and 12,156 pieces of ammunition of 20 mm calibre.

In addition to regular tasks, there were elimination teams of the Federal Civil Protection Administration who worked on the removal and destruction of explosives in the Black Lake (municipality of Bosanska Krupa), in Golubnjaca pit (Drvar municipality), from the Neretva River to Konjic municipality, and two “quick response” missions in regions covered with mines in Zavidovici and Hadzici municipalities.
