Civil Protection Administration ordered Delivery of 80 Invasive Respirators

The Federal Civil Protection Crisis Staff issued an ordered on Friday to deliver 80 invasive ventilators, purchased by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to clinical centers and cantons in the Federation of BiH.

Ten respirators will be delivered to Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, University Clinical Hospital Mostar and University Clinical Center Tuzla, 12 ventilators to the Una-Sana Canton, eight to the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, six to the Tuzla Canton, five to Zenica-Doboj, Central Bosnia and Sarajevo Canton, three in West Herzegovina and Canton 10, two in the Posavina Canton and one ventilator in the Bosnia-Podrinje Canton Goražde, the FBiH Civil Protection Administration stated in the press release.

In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19) infection, the 18th extraordinary extended session of the Federal Civil Protection Crisis Staff was held, chaired by Commander Jelka Milicevic, and attended Sanjin Musa, member of the Crisis Staff of the FBiH Ministry of Health and Head of the Epidemiology Service of the FBiH Public Health Institute and via video link, Fahrudin Solak, Chief of the FBiH Civil Protection Crisis Staff attended the session.

The new order, which applies for May 1, 2 and 3, prohibits the gathering of more than five people in one place.
