Orange Meteo Alert issued for Bosnia and Herzegovina

Cloudy weather with rain, showers and thunderstorms in Bosnia and Herzegovina is expected today. Heavy rainfall in Herzegovina and southwestern Bosnia, where mostly between 40 and 80 liters of rain per square meter is forecast, can locally fall to over 100 liters. The least precipitation is expected in eastern Bosnia.

Windy all over the country. Strong, local and stormy southerly winds are expected. In the afternoon, the wind will weaken. The lowest morning air temperature will be mostly between 14 and 19 degrees. The highest daily temperature will be mostly between 17 and 24 degrees, the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute stated on Friday.

Meteoalarm issued an orange warning for today due to heavy rainfall and very strong wind with storm surges for the areas of Sarajevo, Mostar, Trebinje, Foča and Livno, as well as a yellow warning for the area of Banja Luka, Bihać, Tuzla, Prijedor and Višegrad, which refers to windy weather. and thunder.
